My theory: she was probably a robot in this film which is why Lex sent her to die and he's just going to build another one. She's often portrayed as a robot such as the Young Justice series which is why it would not surprise me if she was a robot which also makes it possible to make future appearances in DC movies.

HOLY CRAP! I notice Mercy a few times in this movie, I didn't even realize the part where he set her up to die! Then again this should not shock me, Lex is always killing her off or throwing her into something that gets her killed!

The piss in a jar thing.Most complain about the save Martha moment but for me the moment that killed the movie was the piss in a jar.I sort of get it but i also don't.Since the entire setup is like the punchline to a joke that is not even funny in fact it doesn't make Lex seem more creepy it makes him seem lame.He risked everything on a piss in a jar gag.Its a good thing his piss doesn't smell otherwise someone would have reacted before to the weird yellowish liquid.Finally this is something that a Joker would think up not a Lex trying to give a lame comeback to a pretty bad piece of dialogue that he heard earlier from that senator.Its just so out of left field it doesn't work and this is a comic book world.

Alright character and acting. I think they should have picked a somewhat intimidating actress who carried herself like a military woman, not this anorexic art school creature.

On April 26 2018 it will be two years since my dear friend Kurt Stegall (d. 12/23/2016) took me to see B v S. he had already seen it a couple times! I loved the characters esp Lex and Wonder Woman! Kurt passed away a little over a year ago. we also saw suicide squad and Dr. Strange together. he liked B v S better than Suicide Squad, he had said. but sad he didn't get to catch Justice League. I went on opening day and took a photo of him with me and held it in my lap!
